I have a domain and a web page which consists of four pages & a image
folder. I use file - publish web.

Everything appears to transfer but when I go to view the web page nothing.
I go to the domain and get a window that says "this is a temporary web page"
do you want to go to manager. When I go there I cannot find the files I
transfer. What am I missing. It sounds easy in the instructions.

Contact your host and have them
"Activate" your account.
I've had this happen.
What your seeing is a server "Default" page

You need to have your host replace the default page that they have for your domain with yours.
Also, did you install the Frontpage extensions?

In your local web in FP change your home page filename to that required by your online host server
- right click it to rename it, then publish again
