Actually, I'm saddened at the conflict with Mike. Mike used to be one of the
guys I highly respected - his knowledge of graphics and printing was/is pretty
much unparalleled.... He is also a former MVP - so, even MS has recognized
that he knows his stuff.

As a very experienced VB .NET developer and teacher with experience in .NET
since its early betas, I believe I did just that. I have also been
contributing in these NG's for over a decade and "get" what the point of
them are. I believe the only confusion in the thread was generated by your
argumentative comments.

trolling the VB.Net group, but I am doing it purely in retaliation for what
you have been doing for a long time on the Classic VB group. You're not the
only dotnetter who has been trolling the Classic VB group of course, we've

they stopped recently and you took over from them. But it's easy for you to
stop me from doing this. In fact you can stop it today. All you need to do

apparently retired. Clark is the originator of the trolling messages to
which this specific thread relates. Everyone else is simply retaliating
because they are throoughly fed up of Clark's continued trolling behaviour
in the Classic VB6 group. You'll find that if Clark stops trolling in the

Lie number two. What I don't like is the fact that you are trolling the
Classic VB newsgroup and have been doing so for some time, sometimes in a
blatant fashion and sometimes more subtly. For example in the Unury
Operators thread which started all this the OP, who is clearly using dotnet,
asked a question that he specifically said came from FrameWork 3.5 but he
inadvertently posted it in separate posts to the VB.Net group and to the
Classic VB group. You then deliberately posted your answer to his VB.Net
question in the VB6 group and then posted a separate response to his
matching post in the VB.Net group indicating that you had done so, but
without giving him an actual answer in your VB.Net response. If that had
been done by anyone else then it would have been treated simply as simple
"timing" problem or an error of judgement and it would not in itself have
illicited a response. But because it was done by an old troll such as
yourself, somebody who has been trolling the VB6 newsgrouop for some time,
then it was treated as it was clearly meant, which was a subtle continuation
of your long term trolling activities in the VB6 group. You are the kind of
person who probably repeatedly stuck pins in his little sister as a child
and then pretended that she had asked you to help her remove a splinter when
caught!

The feeling is mutual. I "don't give a crap", as you so qaintly put it,
about you or about what you want, although I would prefer it if you would
refrain from assisting your troll friend Clark in his trolling activities.

to indicate that you actually DO need a baby sitter. It is you who needs to
