Notification of new email

Why in Outlook 2003 that the only time you get a mail notification is when it
goes into your actual inbox? When mail is sent to different folders by
"Rules" it doesn't give you notification of new mail. We are using an
Exchange server. Thanks

Because that's the was OL 2003 works. If you want message notification when
a message is moved via a rule, the rule must include the notification action
(i.e., "play a sound", "display a specific message in the New Item Alert
window" or "display a Desktop Alert").
