Notification area Mail item

Hi there,

I found a little thing... (Widows Vista RC1)

Assume the following scenario:
You have no new mails in your inbox, so there is no mail notification item
in the traybar. Now you get a new mail, which is automatically marked as Junk
and moved into the junk mail folder. There is a new mail icon in the traybar
now. You now go to Windows Mail, right click the Junkmail folder and select
"Empty junk mail folder" from the context menu. The mail is gone, but the
item still stays in the traybar (doesn't matter if you empty the recycle bin
folder too).
If you remove the mail manually by pressing the "Del"-Key, the mail icon
disappears.
This happens in the Junk Mail folder and in the recycle bin folder.
I just tested it with Outlook 2003 and its the same there too.

Just a very little bug ;-) I don't know if this is the right place to post
bug reports here. Hit me if it isn't!

Cheers

I think there is an icon on the Desktop to send feedback. I'd use that as
well.

Yes, thanks. I see. I should really change my glasses. The new desktop icos
are too big to be seen by me ;-)

But also I think it is better to discuss an issue first (even if this is an
easy and small one...) before sending it into a black box ad never get
another response that "Thank you for your feedback".

Cheers,

I agree, but I thought you should use both methods, as it was an important
issue.
