Nothing works in my Visual Studio.NET Beta 2???????

Have I just wasted money on buying VS.NET Beta 2?

I can run the start page but as soon as I try to load a
solution file, I get an error within the Microsoft
Development Environment as the Common Language Runtime
isn't loaded. No samples work from MSDN CD, MSDN
WebSite, Other WebSites Samples, nothing seems to work.

I was hoping to start getting to grips with .NET using
this beta thingy and if it was any good, I was going to
save up and buy the complete package. Looks like I've
been conned or something.

All I do at the moment is mix music or play Spider
Patience in XP.

I want to work! Please can someone help me and notify me
if I can upgrade my package or not?

As you didn't specify the version of Visual Studio .NET you have a beta
of...
Someone charged you money for a two year old beta?
I believe you've been had.
If you have any way to seek redress against the seller, I would do so.
The betas, IIRC, had expiration dates built in (someone please correct me if
I'm wrong!), which should have long since expired.
There is no upgrade from a beta. AAMF, the first thing you need to do before
installing a release version of Visual Studio .NET is to uninstall the beta.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
