There is actually a program called Stickies that I have been using for
about a week now. It works excellently. There are many features for
interfacing stickies with friends and multi-computer stickies that I
haven't tried yet.

There is IMO a much better version of Stickies from way before the title
was ripped off, by Steven de Toni. You get it here;
