Notes for slides do not change in Presenter's View

The Presenter's View on my laptop shows the slide and notes for the first 3
slides correctly. When slide 4 appears the notes remain the same as slide 3.
For the rest of the presentation the notes from slide 3 remain even though
the other slides display in the window above the notes and on the projector's
screen. I am at a loss for a fix action. Please help

Have you updated your video drivers lately? If not, do so. Also try changing
