Notes for Master Pages?

Is there some way to associate notes with master pages? If not, what is the
conventional way to add notes about the presentation itself, e.g., a revision
history, comments on color schemes, conventions to follow in the materials, etc.?

In PPT 2002/2003 you can do some of the things you're considering in File >
Properties. I use the Summary and Custom tabs to add information.
