Not sure what I did (HELP)

I tried to add and install an addin. I am not sure what I did howeve
when I open up Excel and click on tools then ADDIN.

Excel frezes the only way to close it is with CTRL ALT DELETE
What did I do and how do I fix it. I tried to uninstall excel the
reinstall. This did not work. I havn't uninstalled all of office bu
I might need to do this.
Any help please

After uninsall and reinstall to no avail
I deleted the Options key in the registry this fixed the problem.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Microsoft Office 10.0 EXCEL Option
