I keep getting a dialog box asking me if I want to
connect for "Sonic Products" updates, telling me there
are updates available and inviting me to click "next".

Has anyone heard of Sonic Products, is it a virus scam,
porn scam, other scam, or are Sonic a genuine supplier of
programmes I might find on my computer?

Thanks
JC

Sonic is a maker of CD/DVD mastering programs. Just bought a new DVD burner and got their programs with it. Here is the link to their site http://www.sonic.com/. So no, it is not spyware.

I do have DVD, thanks to both who mentioned it, silly of
them not to provide an explanation in these days when we
are all so nervous of people getting at us.
