Not Spam

Outlook 2007 on Vista - some messages come in marked SPAM. When I select them
and click on "Mark as Not Spam", there is no effect - the Spam tag remains.
Any fix for this? And does the Spam/Not Spam mark have an effect on the Junk
Mail filter? And if messages are marked as Spam, why aren't they put into the
Junk folder?

Thanks for any answers

If the spam marking you're talking about is the word [SPAM] added to the
Subject line, that is being done by something other than Outlook, either a
plug-in to Outlook or an external A/V program that plugs into e-mail, so
clicking the Spam/Not Spam feature within Outlook will have no affect on the
Subject line. As for why Outlook doesn't put it into the Junk folder,
whatever decision making process it uses is different than whatever decision
making process the other application uses in determining if a message is
spam or not.
