Not showing pictures

Help, I am in tears over this problem. When i go to
certain web sites instead of pictures all i get is boxes
with red x's in them.

I just posted something regarding this same problem...I am
really frustrated too! Sorry don't have an answer, just
true empathy!

I have talked with BellSouthFastAccess and let them try to
correct the problem by remote, they couldn't find out what
the problem is. the only way I can get pictures is to go
to View, encoding, and click on Western European
(Windows), but I have to do this for every page I open. It
won't stay set to that, it keeps going back to Western
European (ISO). What about you?
