Not Saving Taskbar Info

I've seen plenty of people with problems where icon positions, etc don't save
on their desktop. I'm having no problems there, but the positions of the
toolbars on my taskbar, as well as the items within them (ie: icons in
QuickLaunch) do not hold their position when I log off of Windows. Any
common cause for this problem, or is more information needed?

Line 164. Restore Taskbar to Default Functionality
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Run all of these malware removers:

1. Lavasoft Ad-Aware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com
2. SpyBot Search & Destroy - http://www.safer-networking.org
3. CWShredder 2.0 - http://www.intermute.com/spysubtract/cwshredder_download.html

Update 1 & 2 before running a scan.

Also, verify the Userinit value:

Open Registry Editor and navigate to:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]

In the right-pane, what does the "Userinit" value read?
