Not recognizing product ID - I'M GOING CRAZY

Hello all. I have FP 2002 and have been using it since
it first came out. Now I got a new computer as the old
one caught fire (bummer). Now I have reinstalled FP 2002
and I entered the product ID and the program is telling
me that it is an invalid ID. I AM LOOKING AT THE ONE
PRINTED ON THE LABEL and it is the one I am entering. MS
support doesn't open until Monday and I need to make
changes today. Any suggestions?

Are you using the one labeled Product Key,
which is on the tag on the back of the jewel case??

Also, I believe the product key is CaSe sensitive.
 
Yes I am and I have tried every case combination I can
imagine. This is amazing because it worked well on my
old computer.

Do you get to the point where it is time
to "Register" the product??
If so, select "Register by phone"
