Not Receiving Emails

When I hit send/receive, it says send/receive complete, but I am not
receiving anything. When I send a test to that account from another account,
it comes back saying that the mailbox is full. It will send however. How do
I get it to receive? I've checked the account settings and everything is
fine. I am using Outlook 2003, SP2.

The mailbox is full because you leave messages on the server instead of
deleting them when you download. Outlook knows these messages have already
been downloaded in the past and won't download them again as a result. Your
server mailbox is now full and you can't receive any more new messages so
Outlook can't download them.

Use a web interface to your server Inbox and clean up if you wish to be able
to receive new messages.

I just cleared out many of the messages I had saved in my inbox, yet today I
cannot receive anything.

If you aren't connected to a server from your ISP or mail provider, how can
you expect to receive email?

That's because you cleared out the LOCAL Inbox. What you need to do is to
use your ISPs WEBMAIL and clear out the Inbox on your ISP's mail server.

The Inbox on the _server_? I wasn't referring to the one you see in
Outlook. I was referring to the one your ISP supplies you where your mail
is delivered and waits for you to run Outlook and get it; the one you
configured into the POP settings of your account.
