I have a Windows XP PC (PC1)to which one Win 2K prof (PC2)
and one Windows Xp PC (PC3) is connecting . I shared a
folder in PC1 abd mapped it to other two PCs. But these
two are not prompting to enter paasword while booting to
connect to PC1. I want in such a way that these two PCs
should ask for password to connect to the mapped drive.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

A few questions:

1) Are you using simple file sharing on PC1?
2) Are you logging in with the same username and password on all boxes?
3) Are these machines in a domain?
