Is there any way to have the comment indicators show on
the screen but not printing them without turning off the
comment indicators in tools (which removes them from the
screen as well)??

Hi DL

my comment indicators don't print anyway, but you could check to see if file
/ page setup - sheet tab has NONE selected for comments.

Does this make a difference?

When I print in Excel, it is OK however when I insert the
same file into a Powerpoint chart is prints the
indicators??

Maybe more of a PowerPoint function??

Thanks Julie!

Hi DL

how do you put it into PowerPoint?
and what version are you using of excel & powerpoint?

Cheers

When I am in PowerPoint (V 2000 SP-3) I use the
Insert,Object,Create from File function and locate the
Excel (V 2000 SP-3) file that I want to insert. PowerpOint
inserts an Excel spreadsheet into the chart.

I'm puzzled!

the comment indicator ... however, after saving the workbook again it
decided to show up ... so its happening on my version too (2003) and i don't
