Ok, here is the situation:
I just purchased a new computer for christmas and it has the
following components:

P4 3.2GHz w/ HT
512 mb ram
250gig HD
Windows XP Home edition

I dont know if this matters but i have a cable internet
connection that downloads at 2mb+. I have this computer
netoworked to another computer in my house via a router.

OK, now for the problem on my new computer: I have come across
this error quite a bit when trying to install new things:

"Install failure, Reason: Not enough storage is available to
process this command."

The "things" that i am installing when this happens include:
Windows Media Video VCM Codec (from microsoft.com)
Windows Media Player 10
Drivers for my Saitek gaming keyboard (usb)
Drivers for my Creative Jukebox Zen (usb)
Drivers for my Belkin mouse (usb)
Drivers for my printer/scanner (usb)

The error comes up after the extracting of files and installing
starts.

Some more information if needed is that i have the following
installed:
Norton Anit-virus 2005, Systemworks 2005, internet security 2005
Ad-Aware SE Pro

Any help would be greatly appreciated. As you can probably
imagine, a new computer with this kind of problem can be quite
frustrating. After spending hours on the phone with this
manufactuer's "Tech" support, i realized a monkey with a rubber
mallet had a better chance of fixing it then they did.

Did you ever resolve your issue? I am having very similar problems with a new
XP SP2 machine and everyone thus far is stumped.

Thanks
