not enough space to install

Hi :
my domain server hdd still got 500 over mb free space,
but when i try to install a windows patch file which is
only 6mb, the system keep on prompt me an error message of
not enough hard disk space to copy file.

any idea ?

If your domain controller only has 500 MBytes of free space
then you have a serious problem that needs an immediate
resolution. The inability to install a patch is only a small warning
to do something now, while you can.
 
What is telling you that you still have 500Meg available? The only thing
that counts space-wise is the system drive.
