Not enough Memory ?

D

Donnie

I am building a powerpoint 97 presentation. I put together
24 slides, then when I tried to insert a picture from file
for the 25th, I get an powerpoinnt error message that
says " there is not enough memory available to complete
this function ". Ive got 256Mb of memory, that should be
plenty. I saved the pres. to disc and then deleted the
pres. from my harddrive. began a new presentation and on
the 1st slide, I try to insert picture from file and I get
the error message again. In the 24 slides that I put
together, I inserted about 8 pictures so it did work for a
while.

Please help !

Donnie,

Have you re-started your computer recently?

If not...re-start it. That should empty out any recent/current memory
problems.

Also where did these pictures come from?

Are they scans or straight from a digital camera. If so they may contain too
many pixels for your particular PC to handle within powerpoint...see
