Not Enough Free Memory - Is It In 2003?

I have Office 2000 and constantly get the error "There isn't enough free
memory to update the display. Close unneeded programs and try again." None
of the suggestions MS provides works. I also get errors printing, and a few
others from Access 2000.

My question is are these errors still in Access 2003? I need something I can
work with, not fight with.

TIA!

Don't know about A2003 but what you need to do is to increase the amount of
virtual memory. What operating system are you using? If it is Windows 2000,
right-click My Computer and select Properties. Note the amount of RAM on the
General tab then click the Advanced tab. Click Performance options. Under
Virtual Memory click Change. I would make the initial size twice the amount
of RAM, i.e. if RAM is 256MB then Initial size should be 512. Maximum size
should be 3x min., or 1536 in my example. NT and XP are similar -
terminology may be different. If you are using 9x or ME, upgrade.
