Not detecting DVD Rom

i am able to install windows XP from the same Dvd rom , After finishing the
installation i am not able find DVD Rom in My computer and device manager
(it is detecting in window 2000 profissional and windows 98 also)

Please help me to resolve the issue

Cari \(MS-MVP\)

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. On the following screen,
click on Disk Management. Does it now show up on the right hand side of
the screen?

Hi Cari

I tried that there also i am not able find it

even in device manager also i am not geting cd drive

Please help me any patches or firmware for this issue
