Not connecting

I am receiving the following error:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop-server.woh.rr.com',
Server: 'pop-server.woh.rr.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

My account is setup correctly and my email has worked fine all week. I have
not installed or removed anything. Have not adjusted firewalls or anything
that would cause this. My wife has an email account on this same computer and
hers is fine.

Any suggestions?

Disable email scanning by your anti-virus application. It provides no
additional protection, it may be causing the error, and even Symantec says
it's not necessary:

incoming files as they are saved to your hard drive, including email and
email attachments. Email Scanning is just another layer on top of this. To

Auto-Protect enabled and run LiveUpdate regularly to ensure that you have
the most recent virus definitions.
