not accepting changes in a form

I cannot change the html in a form. When I type changes in "Form
Properties">"Advanced", the changes do not result in a change in the html.
 
What type of changes and is the form being processed by the FP Form Handler or a custom ASP, PHP or
CGI-Perl Form Handler?

processed by custom handler. One of the hidden fields is "return" which has
an entry directing to the retrun URL. When I try to edit this URL, FP will
not accept the change. If I directly change the html, FP accepts the change.
 
Sometimes it is best to directly edit the HTML and avoid using the UI.
