not able to send mail

Do you have more than one Hotmail account configured ? This problem can be
cause when multiple Hotmail e-mail accounts are assigned to a single e-mail
identity in Outlook Express. Try the following workaround:

1. Create a new e-mail identity for each Hotmail account.

a. In Outlook Express, open the "File"
menu, click "Identities", and then click "Add New
Identity".
b. In the "Type your name" box, type a
name for the identity.
c. If you want to set a password for the identity, select
the "Require a password "check box. In the "New
Password" box, type your password. In the "Confirm New
Password" box, type your password again, and then click
"OK".
d. Click "OK".
e. If you want to switch to the new identity now, click
"Yes". Otherwise, click "No".
f. Click "Close".
