Not able to send mail

Outlook 2003 was working fine. I tried to send a message with miltiple
atachments & since then can't send mail. When I click on send the name
appears in italics in the Outbox and changes immediately to normal text.
Although the messages remain flagged as 'unsent', they don't get sent. Any
ideas anyone? Thanks.

I hadn't to do naything at the time, as Outlook started working properly
again. Then it went back to the same problem. I turned on logging as
suggested, but I don't really understand the myriad of entries in it. It says
send complete, but it's not. I've tried sending mails between my own
addresses and they're no being send.

I am getting quite confused by this. The problem seems to come and go. One
minute working fine, and next minute it's locked up again. Can anyone please
help?????

If this is the case, the problem may be in your network connection or with
you rmail server.

I don't think so.
I'v a number of different mail servers (accounts with different ISP's) for
business and personal. This happens no matterwhich I use.
If I create the mail in Outlook Express it always works. The thing I don't
get is that the mail appears in italics in the outbox but changes immeditely
to normal text as it would appear if sent -- but it's not going out.
The network is simply a wireless link to a DSL line.

Enable diagnostic logging and see if something sticks out.

Post the log here and perhaps something will be recognized by another
reader.
