Not able to renew IP address

hi,

I am a lead tech working in tear 3 for a local company,
one of my client who is running windows 2000 pro recieves
an error message in DOS that "internal error has occured,
disconnect/reconnect network interface or reboot the
machine" when he attempts to renew ip address.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

hi,
just reinstall the NIC driver and device also. that will
shot it out your problem
