not able to clear history !!!

Hi all,

I have a problem with internet explorer.... I open the IE
and clear all history, cookies and offline files.. then
after i close the IE. now, i reopen IE and all the history
comes back....


any idea !!!!

JD,
With no IE windows open, try it from Control Panel> Internet Options>
General> Clear History.

You might need to delete the damaged History folder- a new one will be
created on restart.

Free History Eraser from

History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.

Another program might be locking your history.
