I am teaching Access as part of one of my classes. Two of my students have
sent me databases that cause the "Not a valid bookmark." message to appear
when I try to open the database. I have been able to open everyone else's
databases without any problems. I have tried repairing, converting and a
host of other things to get the db to open. I even examined the db in binary
mode using DevStudio to see if there was some strange data path that it might
be trying to access with no luck.

Can anybody help? What do my students need to do different? The can open
their db on their system, because they have been able to create printouts and
send them to me.

So, what madness may we attribute this error to?!
