Hi,

I was adding entries in my access database and then my
computer crashed. After the reboot i tried to reopen the
file i get the following message "Not a valid bookmark"

Using help 'Not a valid bookmark. (Error 3159).....' The
file is around 11mb. Is the file repairable, i'll
appreciate any help on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you Allen Browne for answering.
I've Downloaded the JetComp utility 4.0 and attempted to
recover the corrupted file but it didnt fix it, i
get "Error compacting database". However i tried
recovering the non-corrupted database file, it worked
fine, which means the procedure i did was right.

Anyone have other solutions please help me

JetComp is certainly the first thing to try. There are some other
things at the Corruptions FAQ at my website to try. Hope you have a
good backup though.
