I have accidentally "uninstalled" SoundMAX on my laptop, thinking it was
offline content downloaded to my computer. I need help on how to retrieve it
from the system so i can restore it becuse it was the main system sound for
my laptop. I have no sound now. System Restore is not an option for me on
this one, nor do I longer have a disk...please help me with this.

Thank you,

James

If you uninstalled it, System Restore would not be any help. This needs to
be reinstalled to get it back. Since you don't have the disk, you could
check the website of the laptop manufacturer for sound drivers.

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite....thank you and Sharon for your posted
help. So, the manufacturer would be Toshiba? I have little knowledge about
computers...so I would not know where to look.

Here's the home support page for Toshiba.

The first link in the left column of the page body (not in the sidebars) is
for downloading drivers. Clicking that takes you to a "product selector"
where you'll select your exact laptop model.
