Norton Updates

Since last monday whenever I try to manually get updates of Norton AV 2003,
I get a message that a file on the server is corrupt and updates are not
installed. They say check that you are connected to the internet and try
later.
Kindly help because with the current virus situation its very risky not to
remain updated. I like Norton and dont want to get another AV programme from
the free ones available. Cant afford to buy the Norton 2005 as the one I
have at present was purchased in late 2003.
Thank you all very helpful people in this group.
Regards,

Farid

Can you gain the internet for anything else? That said, am glad you like
Norton; however, there are many other programs to use and depend on.

If you can get to the internet, run this combo and rest assured:

Run Ad-Aware SE, Spybot, CWShredder and HijackThis:

Note: Update the first two programs, once installed, before running.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Did MS buy out Symantec now...? Why are you asking about a Symantec
application here...?
