Norton System tray Icon

I installed Norton system work 2006 and everything seems to be working
but when I click on the norton antivirus system tray icon, it does not
open. Also, I tried to double click from the shortcut that is in my
desktop but it didn't open, I go into the programs and I try to open
it but it also doesn't open. Please help!

I'd suggest asking this at to Symantec support.

You might try the Norton support on their web site as this is not exactly a
specific Windows issue.

Hi:

Right click on your desktop icon for NSW2006 and go to Properties and see if it is this:
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Nmain.exe"

If not, change the target to the above and see if it will open. If it then fails to open you most likely will have to do a uninstall and reinstall.

However, you first might want to visit their support chat line where you can chat with a support technician. Also you can run their Autofix tool from: http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/support/index_ts_ie.jsp
