In the "Symantec Help Center" it is stated:

The options included under the What to scan heading are as follows:

Scan incoming Email Automatically scans email messages that you
receive for threats.
Scan incoming Email Automatically scans email messages that you
send for threats.

My question is:
Where does one locate the "What to scan heading" so that one can 'turn
off' "Scan outgoing Email"?

Thanks,
William Parrish

You'll probably get a faster answer by posting this in one of Symantec's
forums. I haven't visited them in quite some time, but I know they're
accessible via their web site.

In my NAV 2006 Options under the Email tab, I have two options that can be
checked.

- Scan incoming Email (recommended)
- Scan outgoing Email (recommended)

If you uncheck the seond one, it should stop scanning outgoing email
messages. Is that what you're trying to do?
