Norton says my .exe is a High Risk

Starting a few days ago, when i run my .exe file (for my app), Norton
Antivirus pops up a warning saying "xyz.exe is attempting to connect
to a DNS server". The message is highlighted in red, and is
considered "High Risk".

My application has absolutely no code that would connect to a server,
or anything remote. This is strange. This is only happening the past
week. Before last week i never got this message. When i run an old
version of the .exe then i do NOT get the Norton warning.

Does anyone know what might be causing Norton to do this? Thanks for
your help!

Is your code accessing 127.0.0.1

Just say Permit always & that should sort it out

Ummmm .. Norton Antivirus is NOT written in VB.NET.

Maybe contacting the authors of Norton Antivirus might be a better course of
action for you.

hello John

I had once something simular a long time ago with a VB6 application , so i
sended the executable to Mcaffee ( our at that time AV vendor ) they tested
the executable and changed the AV software with the first upcoming update
