Norton network problems xp sp2 w2k

Hi All

I hope someone has an idea what is causing this. I installed a new pc
with XP sp2 on at a client with an existing w2k pc. The w2k pc has
norton internet security installed. On the Xp machine Norton antivirus
2006 is installed. The problem is the from the Xp machine I cannot ping
or see the other pc but visa versa is ok. Is the internet security
blocking packets from the xp machine. I have disabled what I thought
could be the problem but no luck, the xp pc will not connect. Any
ideas?? please.
