NORTON Internet Security

I am unable to configure settings in the Norton Internet Security.
If I click eg. pop-up blocker or anti-spam and then click configure I get
the following message: "An error has occured in the script on this page.
Line 6; Character 1; Object Expected."
I cannot configure things properly and therefore some programmes don't work
properly.

I have the latest version of Java and I have spoken to Symantec's technical
help, they said this problem is to do with Microsoft.
Plealse advise how to deal with this. Many thanks

Hello there! IF you have Norton NIS2005 AND I.E.7 , THEN you have thesame
problems asI have had! NIS2005 does NOT work with I.E.7 when attempting to
change settings in NIS2005. With I.E.6 NO problems! Jan in the Netherlands.

I knew there was a reason why I stayed on IE 6, now I know of another
reason. Thanks, eeden003. I plan on migrating to either Trend PC-cillin
2007 or the Zone Alarm suite within the next month, so now I get the
pleasure of un-installing NIS when it dies. <g>
