Just a note that Norton Ghost 10 seems to be taking a heck of a long time to
complete backups since WD[Beta2] was installed....
now I am not pointing the finger at WD [Beta2]....but just raising the
awareness...
Norton Ghost 10 seems to 'hang' temporarily, also when trying to carry out
other basic tasks such as open Task Monitor [TM] with Ghost 10 backing up to
external hard-drive TM freezes - never did before installing WD[Beta 2] when
I opened TM when Ghost was backing up to external hard-drive. I have had to
abort backups because of the freezing by powering off the computer.
The general 'freezing' and 'sluggishness' means I cannot do anyting else at
the same time, even with Ghost 10 option to set CPU usage to minimum. My
computer is a HP Pavilion AMD Athlon XP2800+ with 960MB ram
