Northwood CPU's hard to come by?

Trying to find an Intel P4 Northwood CPU around 3Ghz but they're hard to
find here in Canada... Any suggestions?

There were no Northwoods with 1meg cache, right? I assume that any socket
478 P4 with 512meg cache is a Northwood?

I should add that this is for a Multimedia PC.... TV capture, some games,
PVR, etc... Would be going into a tiny PC chassis.

If I can't get a Northwood, what would be a decent Prescott? (I'm stuck with
a socket 478 mainboard i865 chipset)

Havent really looked at Intels that much but there was that Xbit labs
article which said Intel was creating a shortage of the old Northwoods
and MBs because they wanted to force everyone to move to the prescotts
which werent as popular as they thought they would be. I think I
posted this already. Some motherboard makers they claimed had a
shortfall in revenue, sales targets because of the shortage -- they
couldnt meet demand. This was back in Nov Dec.
