I installed Access 2003 about a year ago. I remember at the time that it
gave me an error to the effect that Northwind failed to install completely or
properly & that I wouldn't be able to see all it's features. I didn't think
anything of it at the time, but now I want to look at it & it's very obvious
that there is a lot of stuff missing from it. - like customer's & employees.
There are only 8 tables (not sure if that's complete) and only 4 buttons on
the main switchboard that allows you to look at products, categories, orders
and suppliers. Then there are 2 buttons to print reports & display the
database window. As I recall from older versions, there should be a way to
look at customers, employees, customer accounts, etc. But there are no
tables that I can see that show accounts, or order histories, etc.
I looked on my Access CD to try to just install the database over again, but
I can't find it on the CD. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get
a complete copy of the Northwind database?
Thanks
