Can a normal windows XP OS work with EWF function?
If can which application should I install? Or use which method to reach it?
NO use the third party tools.

George,
Can a normal windows XP OS work with EWF function?

I don't think MS intended EWF to work on XP Pro but teoretically it should
work (the same binaries, all the possible dependencies).
I don't know, though, if it would be legal to use EWF on XP Pro.

it?

Application? EWF. Since MS does not sell EWF to XP Pro users, there is no
install for the app.

You can, however, explore all the EWF components in XPe database (files,
registry entries, resources, FBA commands) and create your own intall. This
isn't rocket science.

Could not understand this question/statement.

I know there are some third party tools that can protect the HD, just some
similar with the EWF function, but we don't want to use that tools.
I will try to explorer the EWF components in XPe database, thanks for you
advice.
