Normal.dot is password protected

On our work network the "Normal.dot" is password protected. This does not
cause a problen until I need to print a large number of Word documents. This
I do by highlighting them all in Windows Explorer and right-clicking Print.
This then automatically opens all the documents, sends them to the printer
and closes them again. BUT it requires that I enter the password for every
document ! Is there a way round this time consuming exercise ??

Don't share Normal.dot; don't place it anywhere on the network other than
your local machine; don't make it read-only or password protected. You'll
avoid not only this annoyance but also a lot of other potential problems.

Normal.dot is designed to be an individual user's scratch pad and working
environment. Common resources and constraints need to be handled in other
ways, such as global add-ins, company document templates, Office policy
settings and so on.

Do not share normal.dot. You can share resources that could be in normal.dot
in other ways. See http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for
step-by-step instructions on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up
customizations including AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments,
toolbars, macros, etc.
