Normal.dot corruption

Running Office XP on Windows XP the Normal.dot file in Word has been
corrupted by an accidental overwritting of the file. How do I repair the
file and return it to the original state?

But if you have customization in that template, be sure not to delete
it. Then you can use Organizer to copy the contents ot the old template
to the new one.
