Normal.dot changes

M

Muddle

Lately something via Outlook has been attempting to make changes to
normal.dot and I'm wondering if this could be a new antivirus program I
installed. I usually happens after I view purchase confirmation emails from
Amazon. The virus scanner I just stated using after ditching AVG's latest
bloatware is Avast. Anybody got any ideas. As of right now I've always
selected cancel or no to any changes and I'm wondering could this be
something I should allow.
Thanks

You should be able to test whether or not Avast is the issue by uninstalling
it, then reinstalling it without any email scanning.
