Normal Document Error

When I closed a document I mistakenly closed and change the normal document.
I had created a blank table and cannot find a correction to restore blank
document at opening of word.

Does anyone have a tip for me?

Find your Normal.dot file which is the global template for all word
documents. This is in C:\Document and Settings\[yr user name]\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates\

Delete this file (if you're worried, rename it to something else). Then
open your Word Application (Start\Programs\ etc.). This will reset and
recreate your Word global template. Save this as a template (i.e. .dot
extension, instead of .doc)
