Hi,

In Word 2007, does anyone know how to insert a nonbreaking hyphen into the
Find and Replace dialog?

Pasting it doesn't work.

Same as in any previous version: ^~

You can find this by expanding the dialog (More) and then clicking on
Special.

As in all versions of Word, click the More button at the bottom of the
dialog, click Special, and choose "Nonbreaking Hyphen" from the list. Or, if
your memory is better than mine, you can simply type the code ^~ in the box
in the dialog, which is the result of going through the Special list.

I'm not in 2007, so this is just a guess -- but does ^~ work?

That's the keystroke combination that works in 2003, and I'm hoping they'll
be the same in 2007.

Eureka!

Many thanks.
