non-upnp nat router

Q

qwerty

I am behind what msn messenger 6.2 says to be a non-upnp
router. Is there a way to make the video conferencing
work. Second, is there a way to change the video view in
windows messenger to be bigger and clearer like the msn
one has.

Greetings Qwerty,

There's a few ways if it's not working (for instance, www.realtunnel.com), but generally
speaking, you will not get video/audio conversations working through non-UPnP enabled routers
in most scenarios.

Unfortunately no, that feature is exclusive to MSN Messenger at the moment.

I have the same problem. I enabled the UPnP in my
Linksys router. I also have Norton Anti-virus running.
Should I disable that when trying to do audio?
