non-resizable windows - NOT all visible

Have just bought a new DELL Inspiron Laptop with Windows
XP installed.
The non-resizable windows are NOT big enough, hence all
data NOT completely visible - how can I fix this? eg I
can't get down to the "Accept License" part of the
Microsoft window to update against W32.Blast.. It also
affects other programs eg Quickbooks where there are non-
resizable windows.
Would appreciate any advice.
 
Hi,

Please update the graphics adapter to ensure that you can
view a resolution of at least 1024*768.

To go to the button for accepting the license press tab
and the focus will be on the button "Accept" and then you
can press the space bar.
