non-remombering full screen.

I have netzero free which gives me a banner and resizes my windows to fit
below the banner. When I am using my other ISP IE keeps opening with empty
space for the non-existing banner. I can make it go full screen, however
when I close and re-open it, again it is leaving a space for the
non-existing banner, even though I have not used netzero between the close
and re-open.

How can I fix this??

Try dragging the window borders to the size desired, then close the window
while holding down <shift>.

Also try a right-click on the shortcut to the program being run. Click
PROPERTIES|RUN AS, and select MAXIMIZED.
