Non malicious Addin replaced the Dialog - Help

I downloaded lot of download managers to review each of them
It seems one of them replaced my Save Target As dialog
When i click a link to a file, nothing happens
When i rightlick and choose Save Target As nothing happens too
I uninstalled all these programs but dont remember which 1 was the 1 that replaced this stuff..
I dont want to repair my IE install because i have lot of plugins, etc. I'd have to re-install... so i thought it'd be a fix for this

I tried http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=176316 but doesn't work

Any way to restore/reset download features to original in IE 6 ?

What sort of file?

If it is only .exe files, then read on and see if this is relevant:
You may have an invalid plugin.
Netscape-Style Plug-ins Do Not Work After Upgrading Internet Explorer

Remove the plugin with Regedit.exe
Start-Run-Regedit.exe
Navigate down to this key and remove it, after exporting it as a
normal safety precaution.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Plugins\Extension\.exe

If that key exists, then you will see what plugin has been installed.
The key does not normally exist.
